Sump vs ejector?
Sump = storm / seepage. Ejector = sewage. Wrong pump in the wrong pit fails fast.
Carpark · basement · rainwater pit
AOT Trinity lifts, services and replaces submersible sump pumps for HDB carparks, condo basements and landed rainwater pits. Send a photo of the pit and the nameplate — Tsurumi, Flygt, Grundfos or otherwise.
Rain and seepage collect below the drain invert. The sump pump (often two, duty and standby) pumps that water out. Failed floats, jammed impellers, burnt motors and seized guide rails leave the carpark under water after one storm.
This is not an ejector pit (sewage). Mixing the two is how sites get the wrong pump quoted.
Labour from S$80 repair / S$120 install. Lift-out in a flooded pit is quoted after we see access. Parts and GST extra. BCA L1 ME12, PUB plumber WS16882018.
