Diverter & motorised valve Singapore — the pump that never takes a rest
FMs search “divertor valve”, “diverter”, “motorised valve pump”. Same fault: duty never changes to standby. AOT traces the actuator and limit switch before anyone buys two new pumps.
Where this sits
On transfer and booster skids, a motorised butterfly or ball valve (the “diverter”) sends suction/discharge to the running pump. Fire rooms use similar isolation. If the actuator is stuck mid-stroke, one pump cavitates and the other is dry.

Same as a solenoid?
No. Solenoids are small on/off. Motorised valves on pump skids are geared actuators with limits. Different parts list.
